The Heidelberg University Biochemistry Center (BZH), founded in 1996, unites the activities in biochemical research with teaching of the faculties Biology, Chemistry and Medicine at Heidelberg University. At present, 13 groups are established here, performing basic scientific research and contributing to the teaching of students of Biology, Chemistry and Medicine.
