3-V Biosciences Inc. is a young, highly innovative start up Biotechnology Company with research and discovery operations near Zurich, Switzerland. It is funded by leading venture capital firms with 3-V Biosciences GmbH operating in Schlieren as a wholly owned Swiss subsidiary of the U.S. Corporation.
3-V’s mission is to discover and develop antiviral drugs with broad-spectrum of antiviral activity and low likelihood of resistance. Such drugs are urgently needed to control infectious disease epidemics and to compliment already existing drugs. Initially the company will focus on the discovery and development of drugs against influenza virus, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and rhinovirus (HRV).
