Main Responsibility and Key Accountabilities
 
Essential functions:

Delivering Business:

Travel: 40 % bis 60 % Max. As a Junior Partner, you will be a key driving force behind the delivery of many projects.  You will also help continue the expansion of its consulting services in the life science sector. You will conceptualize, plan, budget, and provide intellectual leadership for project teams.
 
You manage large projects profitably and to the client’s highest satisfaction
You Support, guide and advise your clients to deliver high quality projects

Supporting the Expansion through existing Projects:

Assure a high level of demand for individual professional services over an extended period of time
Identifies short- and long-term business opportunities
You manage multiple client relationships to maximize long-term business potential
You define new product and service offerings, blending them with existing services to create a compelling value proposition

You Identify yourself and lead thought leadership initiatives to support the growth
You grow your accounts by developing and building trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders within the account, to include identifying new opportunities and new relationships

Winning New Business:

You undertake major business development efforts successfully with little or no assistance
You identify opportunities and win business in new clients

Leadership:

You manage and contribute to the development of professional staff
You maintain state-of-the-art knowledge base in selected areas to keep practice at leading edge
You take a lead role in the performance management and development of direct reports
you support the ongoing management of the business, leading innovation and change initiatives
You are a Role model (values and key behaviors
 
IHR PROFIL
Qualifications:
 
Ideally you bring along an advanced scientific degree (PhD, MSc), professional certifications, or equivalent work experience.  An MBA is definitely an advantage. 

Candidates must have the interpersonal skills and high-level of professional expertise required to skillfully lead teams, interface with client executives and attorneys, develop staff members, and generate new business.

You are expected to have and maintain superb technical skills, contribute to corporate initiatives, and have an outstanding level of commitment to the firm and its objectives. We value a strong work ethic, creativity, a positive attitude, and a high level of energy.

You bring along have proven skills managing complex project assignments from concept through delivery. 

Our ideal candidate has:

Recognized ability to present, facilitate, and/or provide expert guidance on key industry or functional issues
Demonstrated ability to synthesize and apply analytic techniques
Leads complex projects which are strategic in nature
The ability to develop and implement growth strategies
Passion for drive leadership in the market

and possesses an ‘intrapreneurial’ and entrepreneurial mindset
Although Delivery will be your main task and Sales is mainly done by the Partners, winning new business will improve your career path towards Partner

Ideally you have proven management and sales skills
You have the ability to identify new business opportunities and convert them to project work

You have a Track record of winning and developing large client accounts
You can demonstrate credibility and you are networked within the industry
You are familiar with a professional service culture and ability to relate to people across all levels of the corporation
You are Proficient in contributing to staff development

Next to that you have excellent verbal and written communication skills in German/English.  Fluency in a third language is a distinct advantage. Extra fluency in Japanese or Russian is a plus.
