Field Application Specialist IVD (in vitro diagnostics)

Our technically trained sales force works closely with our customers to deliver a high level of service and expertise. Both customer and technical service personnel are readily available to field questions and quickly resolve issues.
Part time position to assist customers and evaluators by providing product and service information, resolving reagents or instrumentation problems and providing supporting documentation for molecular tests and enzyme immunoassays in clinical diagnostics.
Maintain an updated knowledge by reviewing professional publications and by attending courses.
Assists Regulatory Functions for IVD-CE related issues, including mandatory post market vigilance
Visit Customers in order to provide on-site assistance and product demonstrations.
Offer further assistance to attract potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services.
Attend exhibitions and help staff the booth
Execute telephone campaigns as necessary
Review translated documents and confirm acceptability or recommend changes, verify the final accepted version.
Work with the MBI team (Company headquarters in USA) to resolve product or service problems by recording and clarifying the customer's complaints; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve problems; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
Mandatory Qualifications and Requirements
Degree in Biology or in Biotechnology or Equivalent or MTLA
Fluent German; good written and spoken English; French appreciated.
A minimum of one year of lab experience with proven knowledge and understanding of Medical Diagnostic Techniques or a previous experience in an IVD Company in a similar role.
Ability to analyze complex issues. Ability to solve problems and make decisions. Commitment to assist people.
Ability to work in an International team, collaborate with internal and external partners and communicate with people from different cultures
Skilled use of computers
Availability to travels in Germany (occasionally international)
