PhD position - Enteric neuroimmune interaction
The position starts as soon as possible and is funded for a period of three years.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, team-oriented graduate with an university degree in Medicine, Biology, Biomedicine or a related subject. He/she will have a strong interest in intestinal neuroimmunology and is willing to work with animals models. Experience with animal experimentation, in flow cytometry and (primary) cell cultures are required. Research expertise in the field of intestinal inflammation is of advantage. Candidates should also have a very good command of written and spoken English.
We offer a position in a friendly, highly visible international research team. Our laboratory is located in the operative center of the campus in very close proximity to other collaborating groups. Our team consists of highly motivated basic research scientist, clinical scientist and doctoral students. We are well connected in the scientific community and we are a member of the ImmunoSensation Cluster of Excellence. Participation in this project is a chance to work in a clinically highly relevant topic within a state of the art equipped laboratory.
We offer salary according to the German salary scale TVL EG13 (0,65%, Jobticket and supplementary benefits in the public sector (pension plan according to VBL).
