The Research Training Group 1873 (RTG 1873) is investigating pharmacologically relevant signaling pathways. The following disciplines are represented by the participating research groups: pharmacology, physiology, pharmaceutical biology, and pharmaceutical/medicinal chemistry. The RTG 1873 provides a structured, three year English language training program in an interdisciplinary and international research environment. A special emphasis lies on the international exposure of our PhD students (e.g. International Exchange Program).
We are looking for highly motivated students with a recent excellent university degree in the above mentioned or related fields (Bachelor of Science/Master of Science, German State-Exam in Pharmacy or Medicine).
Distinct interest in scientific research and above-average motivation to manage the PhD project is expected. Very good English language skills are a prerequisite to join the English language PhD program.
