PhD positions in epigenetic regulation of development and disease
We use a wide range of biochemical, molecular/cell biological, embryological and transgenic techniques to study the transcriptional and epigenetic networks in heart and lung development and disease both in cell culture and in vivo in mouse/rat and zebrafish.
The applicants should possess a strong research background in molecular and cell biology; specific experience in the fields of heart and/or lung development and cardiovascular and/or pulmonary diseases, stem cell biology and/or epigenetics will be an advantage.
The successful candidates will work at the Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research in Bad Nauheim and/or the Medical Faculty Mannheim, University of Heidelberg, which provide excellent research facilities, as well as a friendly and dynamic working environment.
