The Neuroimaging Center (NIC) of the Focus Program Translational Neurosciences (FTN) invites applications for a

PhD student (m/f)
Reference 563/16

The part time position (65%) is within the DFG Collaborative Research Center “Neurobiology of resilience to stress-related mental dysfunction – from understanding mechanisms to promoting prevention” and will be available from July 1st, 2016 with a limited contract of 4 years.


Your tasks:

- Investigate whether extinction can be understood as a prediction error-based reward learning process
- Perform computational modelling of behavioral and fMRI data in humans


Your profile:

- Master in neurosciences, psychology or related fields
- Excellent English language skills
