Supporting account managers selling QIAGEN’s qPCR/NGS panels. Fostering QIAGEN’ s sample-to-insight offering – developing workflow sales from sample isolation down to data analysis and interpretation: Selling directly to customers (phone and visits), delivering training and seminars.
Increasing sales by actively selling to end users. Supporting other specialists and representatives and developing tactical plans to maximize revenues.
Maintain and develop relationships with key customers and references. Increase customer satisfaction. Develop new business opportunities and references in the field of gene expression-/ mutation-analysis (qPCR arrays & NGS panels) in biomedical research labs, pharma & biotech.
Responsible for forecasting country qPCR/NGS panel revenues and reaching country qPCR/NGS panel budgets.
Work closely together with local and regional marketing managers to provide market feedback and to contribute to country action plans. Work with Pan-European teams to align actions and leverage synergies to exceed sales targets and QIAGEN strategy implementation.
Actively utilize CRM database to input and provide information that will increase effectiveness “in front of” the customer and aid sales.
Communication: Organization of meetings/communication channels to ensure effective communication across business units.
Minimum education: Bachelor of Science, PhD or equivalent experience
Minimum 2.5+ years sales experience.
Proven track record (OTE) or laboratory experience
Experience with array and Next Generation Sequencing technologies and applications
Proven experience of relevant laboratory techniques manipulation and protein expression
Knowledge of relevant markets
Fluent English and German, additional language skills would be a plus
Excellent communication skills at all business levels
Customer focused and solution oriented
Highly motivated and self-organised person with the ability to work independently and in teams
Willingness to travel
