Global Product Manager Healthcare Associated Infections (m/f)
Germantown/Gaithersburg (MD), US Hilden (near Duesseldorf), Germany Manchester, UK
Develop, implement and execute on agreed upon business unit initiatives
Implement global marketing and commercial plans for both the Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI) assays, the QIA EZ-1 sample preparation platform and associated sample prep/extraction products
Deliver global marketing plans to successfully drive placements, feature sets, new sample prep and extraction products
Develop and support market research to assess market and competitor trends
Support development of 5 year revenue models for global markets
Meet Revenue targets for product line (product responsibility)
2-3 yrs experience in marketing in field of molecular diagnostics
BSc, preferably in the clinical/biological sciences, MBA preferred
Understanding of sample prep/extraction technologies
Knowledge of customer requirements for the hospital and reference laboratory markets
Strong organisational, communication and prioritization skills
Excellent oral, presentation and written communications skills
A passion for excellence and a desire to be a driven member of a high profile team
Ability to support global travel up to 30%
Ability to work independently in the fast paced molecular diagnostic field
Interest to read and stay abreast of latest market research and related journal publications
Good change management skills
Strong desire for process improvement, efficiency
