Area of Responsibility

  • Integrated analysis of relevant quality and process data by statistical means
  • Lead the implementation of innovative statistical and mathematical approaches to process design (e.g. DoE, process models), process performance qualification (e.g. control and testing strategy) and continued process verification (trending, PAT)
  • Actively coach, train and support project and internal customers in innovative statistical techniques and data evaluation
  • Develop and support innovative concepts and solutions to create knowledge from data in close collaboration with process development, manufacturing, analytics, quality assurance and IT


  • Education: University degree in biotechnology, chemistry, physics or equivalent with a strong background in statistics and/or quantitative data analysis
  • Languages: English / German (beneficial)
  • Experience: Ideally more than three years’ experience in development or manufacturing within the pharmaceutical industry, good scientific understanding of biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes and expertise in statistical data analysis
