Area of Responsibility
Design, plan and perform/supervise scientific experiments to support late stage development, characterization and validation of upstream cell culture processes for the production of biotherapeutics.
Contribute to project related scientific and technical activities under minimal supervision (e.g., interpret and report results, generate and evaluate data, draw relevant conclusions, optimize existing methods/processes)
Adherence to Sandoz standards, in particular quality (cGxP, data control), ethical, health, safety, environment (HSE), and information security (ISEC)
Prepare relevant source documents such as development reports, risk assessments, study plans and report
Participate in technical sub teams and report and present scientific/technical results internally and contribute to publications, presentations and patents
Education / Experience: University degree in life sciences (biotechnology, bioprocess engineering, cell biology, molecular biology or equivalent); PhD with min 1 -2 years professional experience or Master with min 4 years professional experience
Languages: English / German beneficial
Technical knowledge: Practical experience in bioprocess engineering principals and upstream unit operations are minimum requirements. Experience with statistical methods (e.g. DOE, MVDA) would be highly preferred. Outstanding presentation and scientific writing skills are expected
