(Single-cell) Bio-Engineer / Biotechnologist
Your goal will be to further develop and apply droplet microfluidics and robotic fluid handling technologies for single-cell RNA-sequencing and single-cell epigenomics and apply these technologies to study neuronal identity and ageing in the brain. We use the fruit fly and the mouse as model systems.
- MSc Bioscience Engineering, MSc Biochemical Engineering Technology, or similar.
- Experience with one or more of the following techniques is a plus (but not required): molecular biology, robotics, programming, microfluidics.
Depending on your background and interests, we can offer you a position as research assistant, as technical staff, as PhD student, or as postdoc.
