Process Engineer Biotechnological Manufacturing (f/m)

We are looking for:


Your tasks will be:
To establish technical requirements on projects of biopharmaceutics manufacturing
  • To develop and implement engineering strategy and design in accordance with facility and equipment requirements
  • Provide technical input and directions during project design
  • To support the company during facility design and construction
  • Monitoring flow of information between vendors, contractors and internal resources
  • Support commissioning efforts to deliver a fully qualified, GMP project
You ideally bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related field and extended (3+ years) industrial experience; a Master’s degree or PhD in related field is an advantage
  • Relevant experience in a commercial biopharmaceutical manufacturing or biotechnology development environment
  • Sound technical and operational knowledge of operations used in biotechnology manufacturing including bioreactor cell culture, filtration, ultrafiltration, centrifugation, and chromatography. Working knowledge of manufacturing support equipment (autoclaves, washers, etc.), clean utility systems and HVAC concepts for clean manufacturing is a plus
  • Good knowledge of current GMP regulations and an understanding of global regulatory agency expectations
  • Experience in the specification, procurement, installation, start up and commissioning of manufacturing systems involving biotechnology process equipment systems, in a manufacturing plant
The position requires international travelling to work with the project collaborators.
