The University of Luxembourg is a multilingual, international research University. It is member of an international consortium of research organisation. Currently a project is being launched dealing with passively driven sea water desalination devices. The University of Luxembourg will work on the following sub- project:
Numerical Model Development for Membrane Sea Water Desalination
A promising way to solve the world’s fresh water supply problem are solar heated membrane desalination systems. In order to improve the design and analysing process of such desalination devices the ability of CFD tools will be enforced in the frame of the project. It is aimed to develop models for the corresponding physical phenomena and implement them in state of the art CFD codes. These models will be validated against experimental.
Within this project, the University of Luxembourg has the following vacancy within the Unit Engineering of its Faculty of Science, Technology and Communication (FSTC).
