The Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) is one of the most renowned Universities in Europe. The newly established Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 1123 ‘Atherosclerosis – Mechanisms and Networks of Novel Therapeutic Targets’, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), are now offering
12 Postdoc Positions

Successful candidates will employ state-of-the-art experimental approaches and new technologies for optoacoustic and super-resolution imaging as well as an array of transgenic mouse models of conditional gene deletion and knockin insertion of mutants to systematically elaborate intricately linked molecular mechanisms for different target families (cytokines, signal proteins, nucleic acids and lipid mediators). We will propagate the validation of newly identified targets implementing harmonized model systems and bio-informatics network analyses to map the pathogenic complexity and the interaction of new molecular mechanisms.
