Scientist for NGS data analysis
to develop, establish and maintain pipelines for the assembly of genome and transcriptome data obtained by next-generation sequencing (NGS), support scientists in the design of NGS-based studies and extract project relevant data from public databases.
The candidate should have a degree in bioinformatics, life sciences or related natural sciences. Experience with the scripting languages of Perl and R and with high-dimensional data are of advantage, knowledge of NGS data processing and the Linux operating system would be ideal.
