In order to expand our Market Access department, particularly in Germany, but in Austria and Switzerland as well, we are looking for YOU to join our team as a

Market Access Manager DACH (m/f)

Your tasks:

  • Develop, maintain and leverage relationships with key health care stakeholders/providers to expand reimbursement coverage policy
  • Provide local support to enhance favorable coverage policies with payers and relevant health care providers at the national level
  • Provide LivaNova product expertise to the German MDK and other relevant health care institutions
  • Assist in the development of reimbursement strategies and reimbursement (agreement) models
  • Provide the Sales Management team with tactical reimbursement support and direction that will enable them to identify opportunities to expand business with new and existing accounts
  • Provide training and professional education for sales, clinical, and marketing personnel regarding health care policy, reimbursement and health economic issues
  • Increase the knowledge of the sales teams about reimbursement; engage them working with related reimbursement material
  • Provide ongoing support to physicians and hospital controlling in the coding and payment process
  • Work closely with Market Access Director regarding communication and activities

Your qualifications:

  • Master`s or doctoral degree (e.g., MS, MPH, MBA, PhD) or equivalent required
  • Training in health economics, public health, health services research, policy analysis, epidemiology, biostatistics, health care administration or related discipline would be preferred
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of related experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare industry working directly with providers, facilities and third party payers in a consultative role
  • Proven and successful negotiation skills with evidence of accomplishment in dealing with challenging claim resolution situations
  • Documented experience working effectively in a strong matrix organisational team environment
  • Strong strategic skills, ability to analyze complex problems, find solutions, define plans
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Documented competency with all MS Office software applications
  • Fluent in German language (native speaker) and advanced in English language
