3B Pharmaceuticals discovers and develops targeted radiopharmaceuticals providing a focused and personalized approach to the treatment of cancer. Our peptides and peptidomimetics constitute excellent tumor-specific targeting moieties and are coupled to therapeutic and diagnostic radioisotopes via a chelator. As a leader in peptide discovery and optimization, 3BP has built a technology platform extending from hit identification to early clinical development. Technologies are applied to both in-house and collaborative R&D.
For 3BP's division 'Nuclear Medicine & Imaging' we are looking for a radiochemistry and imaging specialist with relevant experience in the radiolabeling of novel tracers and the imaging of small animals.
Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for the radiolabeling of novel, chelator-conjugated tracers as well as imaging studies in xenograft mouse models. You will be closely cooperating with our chemistry department to ensure fast turnaround times from synthesis to evaluation in imaging studies. Your responsibilities may include the project management of some of our nuclear medicine development programs.
Your tasks
  • Establishment and optimization of radiolabeling procedures involving radiometals and chelators
  • QA/QC of radiolabeling procedures
  • Small animal imaging using SPECT/CT and PET/CT
  • Determination of organ activities for biodistribution studies
  • In depth analysis of imaging data
  • Documentation of radiochemistry and imaging results
  • Development of SOPs and CMC support for submission documents to regulatory authorities
  • Preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external events
Your qualifications
  • Degree in chemistry or biochemistry with a PhD and/or Post-Doc in radiochemistry
  • Experience in small animal SPECT and/or PET imaging
  • In depth knowledge of image analysis
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • The ideal candidate would be trained in animal handling and husbandry
