The Laboratory of Photovoltaics at the University of Luxembourg has an opening for the person in charge of the solar cell baseline.
Chemical engineer or technician (m/f)
  • Ref: F1-110045
  • Status: Employee, 40 h/week
  • Permanent contract
  • Responsible for solar cell preparation baseline
  • Chemical etching and deposition of semiconductor films
  • Vacuum deposition of metal and semiconductor films
  • electron microscopy
  • Engineering or technician with a background in chemistry or material science
  • Very good grades or references
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of German and/or French would be an advantage
  • Experience, preferably in a research environment, with thin film deposition and microscopy
  • Able to work and communicate in a multicultural environment
  • Exciting task in the context of renewable energies
  • Friendly international team
  •  Modern, well equipped laboratory
