1 Postdoctoral Position
You will be involved in our research focused on next generation molecular contrast mechanisms for non-invasive neuroimaging of brain function. Our research facilities at the University Hospital of Technische Universität München (http://www.tum.de/en/homepage/) and the collaborating Institute for Biological and Medical Imaging (IBMI, http://www.helmholtz-muenchen.de/en/ibmi/) are equipped with state-of the art imaging systems, including small animal MRI with Hypersense DNP Polarizer, hybrid MRI/PET, PET/CT, Multispectral Optoacoustics, Bioluminescence and 2-P microscopy.
a highly motivated scientist (m/f) with
an excellent and recent M.Sc./Diploma or doctoral degree in (bio)physics, (bio)engineering, neuroscience or related disciplines
a background in NMR physics and interest in functional MR imaging experiments in rodent models at state of the art 7T and 9.4T MRI scanners equipped with a Hypersense DNP Polarizer or PET inserts
strong abilities in image analysis and statistics (programming skills e.g. in MATLAB, Python, C++ are desired)
the ability to be self-motivated and work with an interdisciplinary team of bioengineers, biochemists and neuroscientists
excellent English language and organizational skills

The position is initially for three years with the option of an extension. Remuneration will be paid according to the collective agreement for civil servants of the federal states (“TVL”).
