The International Max Planck Research Schools (IMPRS) are an initiative that was launched by the Max Planck Society together with the Association of Universities and Other Education Institutions in Germany in 1999. IMPRS programmes aim to promote and support junior scientists.
The IMPRS "Primary Metabolism and Plant Growth" is a joint initiative of the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology and the University of Potsdam. Doctoral candidates will be registered at the University of Potsdam and receive a doctoral degree from the University's Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
