TaconicArtemis GmbH ist eine 1998 gegründete Biotechnologiefirma mit Sitz in Köln. Wir haben die weltweit vielfältigste Sammlung wissenschaftlicher Methoden und Verfahren auf den Gebieten Mausgenetik und –funktionaler Genomik erarbeitet und entwickeln diese ständig weiter. Zusammen mit unserer Mutterfirma Taconic Farms, Inc., (Hudson, New York) verfügen wir über die leistungsfähigste Basis zur Generierung und Züchtung von Nagermodellen, die für die Erforschung und Entwicklung von neuen Therapien zur Behandlung schwerer Erkrankungen von zentraler Bedeutung sind.
TaconicArtemis GmbH is a Biotechnology Company founded in Germany in 1998. In our laboratories in Cologne we have compiled the world wide leading portfolio of scientific methods in the fields of mouse molecular genetics and –functional genomics. We use these methods to generate sophisticated genetically modified mouse models by introduction of specific modifications on DNA, RNA (RNAi) and protein levels (chemical genomics), which are used by our customers in drug discovery and basic academic research. Among them are large pharmaceutical and biotech companies as well as leading academic institutions in Europe, the United States and Japan. Our team of senior scientific advisors include some of the most prominent academic scientists in their fields from the USA and Europe.
Together with our parent company Taconic Farms, Inc., Hudson, New York (www.Taconic.com) which is one of the largest and most respected breeders of laboratory rodents, we provide mouse models which are used in academic and pharmaceutical research&development laboratories around the world.
