University of Cologne Center for Biochemistry, Medical Faculty

The Center for Biochemistry of the Medical Faculty of the Univeristy of Cologne represents the joint effort of 18 research groups to investigate biochemical pathways relevant to disease pathogensis. State of the art technologies for biochemistry, molecular and cell biology are in place or are accessible through the Service Laboratory of the Center of Molecular Medicine Cologne (CMMC) or through collaboration with other groups at the Campus of the University (Center for Experimental medicine, CECAD: Cologne Excellence Cluster on Cellular Stress Responses in Ageing-Associated Diseases).
