Sample Management Specialist*

Overview
We are currently seeking a
Sample Management Specialist* to support our Translational Research and Biomarkers team in the development of innovative immunotherapeutic products. You will work in Tuebingen (Germany) in an interdisciplinary environment with colleagues from research and clinical development departments.
Your mission
- Liaise with external partners to ensure that documentation and records are handled correctly and contractual obligations are met. In cooperation with the Sample Managers*, you coordinate:
- The shipment, handling and receipt of different sample types from clinical sites by collaborating with external partners and different departments within Immatics
- The PBMC sample processing with clinical sites and PBMC labs
- The management, monitoring and distribution of lab material at external labs
- The documentation and filing associated with sample management, including quality control and database entries
- Process in-house PBMC samples and contribute to process optimization with your technical expertise
- Contribute to the creation, maintenance and revision of operating procedures (SOPs and Working Instructions)
- Review of all sample-associated sections of clinical trial documents (e.g., laboratory manuals, SOPs)
Your profile
You have completed training as a BTA, MTA or CTA or hold a degree (Bachelor) in life sciences, biotechnology, medicine or a related discipline, and ideally have gained first industry experience. Knowledge of immunology (i.e. PBMC isolation, working with primary T cells) and/ or oncology is an advantage.
We expect a high degree of independent working, analytical reasoning and excellent communication skills (C1 level) both in English and German. You have highly developed organizational skills, and documentation of workflows is of importance for you. You embrace rapidly changing requirements with an open mind and show a high degree of flexibility in an environment which is marked by a constant striving for excellence. Your motivation is driven by your passion for innovation and science, and you approach tasks in a structured, reliable and foresighted manner.
For this position, a driving licence valid for Germany is beneficial.
