This position will be to fulfill the work outlined in the consortium project ‘B2B-RARE: Bench to bedside - Mechanisms of rare diseases and personalized treatment’, funded by EFRE-NRW.
Scientist / Postdoc (m/f/d): Multidimensional omics data analysis
Activities and responsibilities
- Bioinformatics data analysis
- Biostatistical data analysis
- Data integration and analysis using knowledge graphs
- Linkage of omics data with pathogenesis and drugs
Qualification profile
- Ph.D. degree in bioinformatics (or a similar subject)
- Experience in programming languages such as Java or Python is required
- Experience in databases (e.g., neo4J) is required
- Understanding biomedical research and knowledge of biochemical processes
- Good presentation and writing skills
- Proactive, independent and solution-oriented way of working
- Fluent English (spoken and written)

The salary will be according to the German TV-L. The full-time position is available from 01.06.2025. This is a fixed-term position for 27 months, running until the project's completion on August 31, 2027.
