We are looking for a new colleague for one of our In vivo Pharmacology Laboratories in the Cancer Immunology and Immune Modulation (CI&M) department.

Immunotherapy has revolutionized recent treatment options for cancer patients. Nevertheless we won’t stop working towards even more and better options to improve their lives. Hence, we develop innovative medicine using most recent, innovative technologies fields such as oncolytic viruses, cancer vaccines and T-cell engagers.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • In your new role, you are responsible for the development and optimization of new complex methods for in-vivo experiments and ex-vivo immunological assays.
  • Due to your expertise, you are responsible for the independent planning, preparation, execution, evaluation and interpretation of complex experiments.
  • You are responsible for the independent administration of complex devices and act as contact person and instructor.
  • In addition, you support the Head of Lab, for example in the preparation of substitute material reviews and operating instructions.
  • You support the search for materials and literature research in English.


  • Master's degree in biology or similar, alternatively vocational training in this field with long-term professional experience
  • Several years of experience in specialist knowledge/expertise of in vivo pharmacology with murine models in Oncology
  • In depth knowledge/expertise in the field of Immuno-Oncology
  • Ability to work in a team, coordination with colleagues at departmental level
  • Active and efficient communication at departmental level, e.g. active forwarding of work-related information at departmental level
  • Good command of English (e.g. writing and understanding protocols and emails, simple literature research)

Je nach Erfahrung und Qualifikation, sowie weiteren Faktoren kann dieser Schätzwert in unterschiedlichem Maße von der tatsächlich zu erwartenden Vergütung abweichen.
