Scientist Antibody Discovery (m/f/d)

• Plan and implement lead discovery campaigns for antibodies and other modalities using directed evolution methods (phage display, cell surface display).
• Produce lead candidates on a small scale and characterize them biochemically by ELISA, SPR/BLI, flow cytometry/FACS.
• Generate antibody libraries of natural or semi-synthetic origin.
• Keep track of the cutting-edge methods in protein engineering and lead discovery, establish. them in our labs and adapt them according to the current pipeline needs.
• Train and supervise team members in the lab.
• Independently document your work electronically according to our quality standards, analyse and interpret your data, and present them in meetings.

• M.Sc. degree with ≥2 years of research experience or a doctoral degree in a relevant field.
• Proven track record in molecular biology, protein biochemistry and protein engineering.
• Ideally, experience with methods of computational protein design.
• Experience in lipid chemistry will be an asset.
• Practical competence on flow cytometry analysers/sorters is an advantage.
• Team-oriented, conscientious, and flexible working style with independent time management, planning and analysis of experimental work.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Motivation and interest in making a difference with meaningful work to improve patient’s life.
