We are currently seeking a
 
Senior Scientist Immunology (f/m/d)


to support our team in the development of innovative immunotherapeutic products. You will work in Tuebingen (Germany) in an interdisciplinary environment with scientists from all R&D departments, business development and intellectual property. Your analytical reasoning and action-oriented style as well as your organizational skills will contribute to the team’s success.

Activities and responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:
  • Discovery and preclinical assessment of novel cancer immunotherapeutics
  • Planning, supervision and reporting of experiments using a wide range of standardized cellular, immunological and molecular techniques
  • Professional leadership and management of lab operations and staff
  • Project management for responsible tasks
  • Quality Management support including developing and reviewing of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Contribution to the filing of regulatory documents

Qualification profile

You hold a PhD degree in life sciences and have relevant industry experience if applicable. You have a proven track record and hands-on experience in experimental immunology, cellular and molecular biology. In addition, you have in-depth understanding of cell biology and immunology, ideally in the context of cancer therapy. Experience with cell-based functional assays and multicolor flow cytometry is mandatory. You are able to lead a lab team with passion and have a desire to continue in a laboratory-organizer role.

We expect a high degree of independent working and analytical reasoning. You have excellent communication skills, both in English and German, and you are familiar with the requirements of commercial business and interaction with external partners. You are conversant with the establishment of quality assurance systems and you take careful editing and documenting of your results for granted. You embrace rapidly changing requirements with an open mind and show a high degree of flexibility in an environment which is marked by a constant striving for excellence.
