PhD Position - SUMO Signaling in Tumour Biology and Protein Quality Control

The SUMO signaling group (led by Stefan Müller) at the Institute of Biochemistry II (IBC2), Goethe University Frankfurt has a long-standing expertise in investigating cellular signaling by the ubiquitin-like SUMO pathway and has made important contributions to this field (see: orcid.org/0000-0002-8792-7700). To intensify our efforts in understanding the role of the SUMO system in tumorigenesis and protein quality control, we seek highly ambitious and enthusiastic PhD candidates with a strong background in biochemistry, cell biology and molecular biology.

BenefitsIBC2 offers outstanding training opportunities in an international and dynamic research team (see www.biochem2.de) and provides state-of-the art facilities, such as imaging, proteomics and gene editing (CRISPR/Cas) platforms.Send application toFormal applications including a single page description of research interests, CV, diplomas and the names and contact details of referees should be addressed until latest February 28, 2019 to:
