The Translational Oncology Unit (Head Professor Dr. Georg Lenz) that is associated with the Department of Internal Medicine A for Hematology and Oncology is offering one position as a PhD student (TV-L E13 65%) that is immediately available. The position is available initially for 2 years with the possibility of prolongation to complement our highly motivated, young scientific research group. The research group of Professor Dr. Lenz has a long-standing interest in the analysis of the molecular pathogenesis of malignant lymphomas. Professor intends to further functionally validate the role of novel oncogenes and tumor suppressors in the biology of aggressive lymphomas.

Applicants must be highly motivated and have a strong interest in lymphoma research and a good background of basic molecular research methodology.
