Brief description of field of application at our Location in Berlin:


Applicant’s area of responsibility:

  • translational clinical research in cancer or cardio-vascular research
  • planning, preparing and conducting experiments
  • methods development in the single-cell field: imaging and next-generation sequencing
  • collaborative bioinformatics analysis of single-cell sequencing data
  • present your data at international conferences and by publishing results in international peer-reviewed journals
  • technology watch and implementation

Applicant’s profile:

  • strong background and doctoral degree in life sciences (molecular biology, medicine, biochemistry, biophysics), bioinformatics or related
  • proven interdisciplinary focus in molecular biology, microscopy / imaging and/or bioinformatics 
  • any programming skills or solid experience with deep learning methodologies is an advantage
  • great interest and experience in methods development 
  • strong research and team communication skills
