Project Manager (m/w/d)
Job Description:
We are looking for an open minded personality with strong project management abilities. You will be responsible for planning and coordination of customer projects focused on biosimilar development or the expression of new biological entities. You will directly communicate (in English and German) with our project clients, subcontractors and all involved departments of UGA Biopharma GmbH. You will be involved in planning and detailed coordination of company capacities and resources. You will regularly review the status of ongoing projects and suggest solutions to reach our project goals in time.
Tasks:
- Management of customer and internal development projects
- Coordination of project activities between different UGA departments (cell line development, upstream development, downstream development, and analytical department)
- Regular review of the project progress
- Preparing and review of documents and reports (project plans, offers, presentations, project reports)
- Communication with clients and subcontractors
- Continuous optimization of project structures (work packages, milestones, decision points etc.)
- Planning and supervision of trouble shootings
- High-level structuring, coordination and prioritization of resources, budgets and capacities
Requirements:
- PhD or university degree in a scientific discipline
- Several years of professional experience in life sciences industry and demonstrated strong leadership experience
- Team player, strong communicative skills and an ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
- Knowledge in cell line development, bioprocess development, downstream development and protein analytic is a strong plus but not mandatory
- Understanding the concept of protein expression with mammalian cell lines and analytical characterization of proteins is a plus
- Basic knowledge of GMP, GLP or ICH guidelines is a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation and organization skills in English (written and spoken) and German (spoken)
- Ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment
- Exhibit well-developed influencing skills

- Full time (40 hours) or part-time model (≥ 30 hours)
