The Collaborative Research Center 1208 “Identity and Dynamics of Membrane Systems – from Molecules to Cellular Functions” within the Department of Mathematics & Natural Science of Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, Germany, invites applications for
21 PhD positions (50-65 %, salary scale 13 TV-L).
The CRC 1208, funded by the German Research Foundation, addresses the fundamental question how biological membrane systems obtain their identity and control their spatio-temporal dynamics within the entire biological relevant timescale from nanoseconds to days.
The CRC 1208 Graduate Program “MB Train” offers an interdisciplinary training program in the fields of cell biology, molecular simulations, biochemistry and biophysics.
We are looking for talented, highly motivated applicants holding a master‘s degree in biology, biochemistry, (bio)physics or a related discipline.
