Generation of expression constructs and recombinant protein production in either E. coli or insect cells with high-throughput methods
Purification of recombinant proteins using state-of-the-art protein purification technologies e.g. IMAC, IEX, and SE chromatography
Characterization of proteins to be used in in vitro diagnostic kits and assays as well as R&D applications with different analytical methods such as SDS-PAGE, Western blot, HPLC
Generation of reports as well as writing and revision of SOPs according to ISO requirements
Experience and Qualifications:
Technical Assistant (BTA, CTA, MTA), Biology Laboratory Assistant, or B.Sc. in Molecular Biology or Biotechnology
Experience in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning and recombinant protein production in E. coli expression systems is mandatory
Knowledge and hands-on experience in various protein separation and purification techniques including IMAC, IEX, and SE chromatography and gel electrophoresis.
Operating experience in cell culture methods is a plus
Fluent in German; good workplace communication and writing skills in English
Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
