For our Sales BPS unit we are looking for a Manager (m|f|d) of a Key Account who can be based in Central and Northern Europe. The Manager of Key Account Management will be responsible globally for overseeing the relationships of the company with two important clients. The holder of this position will obtain and maintain long term key customers by comprehending their requirements. The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.

About the job

  • Develop trusting relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition
  • Manage a global team of Account Managers
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust in a timely and effective manner
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics

About you

  • University degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Biochemistry or similar Life Science related area
  • Several years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Ability to successfully problem-solve and negotiate
  • Willingness to travel 40-50% including internationally
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills to operate in a cross cultural and very dynamic environment
  • German language skills would be beneficial
