Background Project actibelt®
Mobility is an important clinical readout and therapeutic option in many indications, including musculoskeletal, pulmonary and neurological disorders; moreover it is a critical component of patient independence and quality of life. In order for us to support the development of therapies that improve patient mobility, we need to measure, in a meaningful and quantitative way, patient mobility in both the clinic and at home.

To address this unmet clinical need, a cross-functional team is identifying anddeveloping novel mobility endpoints for clinical decision making in collaboration with drug manufacturers and academic partners and regulators. Over the last years, the team has built a data collection of more than 50 patient years of continuous monitoring - over 150 billion datapoints.

We are starting a multi-year project to identify, validate and register novel endpoints for measuring patient mobility, taking advantage of the expertise of a global pharmaceutical company with headquarters in Basel, Switzerland, combined with a technology & service provider in pharmaceutical development and in developing devices and algorithms for the assessment of physical activity.

Now we are expanding our actibelt-Team located in Munich and hiring in full-time:
