Working Student (gn) – Data Analytics & Statistical Programming (20h/week, 1 year)
Activities and responsibilities
As a Working Student (gn), you will support our team with the following tasks:
- Development of applications, primarily using R Shiny
- Development and maintenance of R scripts, packages, and modules
- Support in application validation and lifecycle management
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Testing of applications and program code
- Participation in code reviews
- Support in creating and reviewing program code for statistical analyses
Qualification profile
- Enrolled student (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Data Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Practical experience working with R
- Basic knowledge of statistics
- Basic understanding of database structures
- Experience with AI-supported development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or similar)
- Structured, independent, and reliable working style
- Team player with good communication skills
- Fluent written and spoken English required; basic German knowledge is an advantage
