We are seeking a highly reliable, forward-thinking, and innovative
Computational Biologist/Chemist/Physicist
to strengthen our in silico and ML research capabilities.Your mindset:
- Strong interest in staying up to date with cutting-edge technologies and scientific developments
- Enjoyment of teamwork and contributing to strategic decisions within a computational biology team
- Can-do attitude to find and implement solutions
- Strong belief in combining in silico and machine learning approaches with in-house wet lab data for ideal outcomes
- Passion for enzymes or proteins in general
- Interest in working on industrial research projects with clear objectives, milestones, and time-sensitive deliverables
- Motivation to join and grow with a young biotech company over the long term
Your expertise:
- A completed PhD or M.Sc. with at least 3 years of working experience in Computational Biology/Chemistry, Biophysics, Machine Learning, or a comparable field
- Strong background in enzyme engineering, including enzyme and protein structure-function relationships
- Proficiency in Python for scientific coding and data analysis
- Experience using GitHub for version control and collaborative development
- Hands-on experience with molecular simulations, ideally using Rosetta and molecular dynamics methods
- Experience applying machine learning or AI approaches to protein design or protein sequence analysis
- Familiarity with cloud-based AI and computational infrastructures, for example, AWS
- Experience with AI agents and workflow automation tools is a plus
Your new workplace:
