We are seeking an experienced Central IT Lead to take overall responsibility for central technology capabilities with a focus on AI, infrastructure, data, analytics, enterprise architecture, and IT security. In this role, you will set the strategic direction for core technology domains and ensure a stable, secure, and scalable IT foundation that supports innovation and long-term business success.

In this role, you will set the strategic direction for core technology domains and ensure a stable, secure, and scalable IT foundation that supports innovation and long-term business success.
The position offers significant scope to shape enterprise-wide technology capabilities, align technology strategy with business priorities, and enable teams across the organization to deliver impactful digital solutions.
What will be your challenge:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for central IT and technology domains, including AI platforms, infrastructure and services, IT security, and data & analytics.
- Define and drive an overarching IT and technology strategy aligned with business objectives and future growth.
- Establish clear principles, standards, and governance models that enable scalable and efficient technology use across the organization.
- Act as a trusted partner to business and technology stakeholders, balancing enterprise alignment with local flexibility and speed.
- Ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance technology services, covering cloud, networks, digital workplace, and cybersecurity.
- Advance data and analytics capabilities to support data-driven decision-making and the responsible use of AI technologies.
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing technology teams, fostering collaboration, clarity, and a culture of continuous improvement.
What you need to succeed in the role:
- Extensive experience in IT leadership roles with responsibility for multiple technology domains.
- Demonstrated success steering central IT functions in complex or decentralized organizations in Banking, Fintech or other highly-regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of modern architectures, IT security, cloud environments, and data governance.
- Proven track record in driving strategic change and direction, steering and influencing across a complex multinational corporate environment - challenging constructively, building alignment, and mobilizing diverse stakeholder groups.
- Clear, transparent communication while building trust at executive level and providing structure and direction, pairing strategic thinking with pragmatic execution - complemented with fluent English and German language skills.
- Passion for reducing complexity, enabling innovation, and creating clarity in a fast-evolving technology environment.
- Leadership style that empowers teams and drives cross-functional collaboration within our international footprint.
