At our R&D site in Martinsried, Germany, you will have the opportunity to strengthen our research team of highly motivated and dedicated scientists and technicians. Together, we develop new and innovative vaccine platforms to induce immune responses specifically tailored to a variety of different pathogens.You will be part of a global and fully integrated vaccine company committed to improving and saving lives through innovative vaccines.

Our vaccines make a real difference to people, and no matter your role we all contribute to protecting lives every day. This is how your work matters:
- Expressing and purifying proteins from bacterial and mammalian expression systems using FPLC
- Characterizing our recombinant vaccine candidates, using biophysical and biochemical assays, such as DLS, cGE and SEC-HPLC
- Help develop new vaccines by performing molecular biological, biochemical and immunological in vitro assays, e.g. characterization of recombinant vaccine candidates, Western blots, ELISA
- Planning and organizing experiments independently including accurate documentation and preparing data for reports and presentations
- Engage with scientists, technicians, trainees (university students) and adjacent departments

- Medical or Biological laboratory assistant/technician (MTA, BTA) or equivalent (e.g. CTA, PTA) or a university degree in life sciences (for Research Associate)
- Experience in biochemical techniques and molecular biology methods
- Experience with protein purification and characterization, experience with HPLC systems would be advantageous
- Previous experience with bacterial expression systems, other expression systems would be advantageous
- Good documentation and communication skills in German and English
- Knowledge in standard computer programs (MS Office)
- Ability and motivation to work independent, effective and flexible as part of a team
