Medical researcher (MD., m/f/div)
to join our research group. For this project, we will investigate how exercise, nutrition and/or pharmacological interventions affect muscle, adipose tissue and liver metabolism in volunteers with, or at risk for, type 2 diabetes. Methodologies to be employed include hyperinsulinemic euglycemic clamps, exercise testing, magnetic resonance spectroscopy and indirect calorimetry
Your profile
- You must have a MD degree.
- You are proficient in performing human experimental studies, experience with the metabolism field and have good communication skills to interact with volunteers.
- You have good organizational and interpersonal skills and are keen to work in a team.
- You communicate clearly and effectively in English and german, both in writing and verbally.

Initially, the position is to be awarded for 22 months. An extension of the contract period is envisaged. The employment contract is governed by TV-L in its current version for North Rhine-Westphalia, including the special regulations regarding the scientific area. The salary is based on qualification and experience, according to TV-L.
