With two development and GMP compliant manufacturing sites for biopharmaceutical products located in Henningsdorf and Braunschweig, we are seeking a candidate to join our Protein Analytics team in the Quality Control department at our Braunschweig location as soon as possible.
BTA Process Development (USP/DSP) (w/m/d)
Job Description
- Preparation, execution, and evaluation of process development work for biomolecules (e.g., proteins, antibodies), including cell culture cultivation and/or downstream processing (e.g., chromatography, ultrafiltration)
- Assisting with the scaling up of upstream and/or downstream processes to production scale, as well as practical implementation in accordance with internal SOPs and GMP guidelines
- Sampling, as well as performing and evaluating analytical methods (e.g., HPLC, ELISA, SDS-PAGE)
- Operation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory and production equipment (e.g., bioreactors, chromatography systems)
- GMP-compliant documentation of all work performed (e.g., batch records, logbooks)
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of SOPs and manufacturing instructions
Profile
- You have successfully completed training as a biological laboratory technician, biological-technical assistant, CTA, or MTA (m/f/d), or you hold a comparable qualification
- Experience in cell culture technology and fermentation processes (mammalian cells) and/or experience in downstream processes for biopharmaceutical products
- Experience in a GMP-regulated environment would be advantageous
- Strong technical understanding
- A meticulous and focused work style
- Ability to work well in a team, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
