Burgwedel Biotech GmbH is a German subsidiary of the international pharmaceutical company Merck & Co., Inc. operating under the name MSD in Germany. At our vaccine plant in Großburgwedel/Hannover, Germany, around 200 employees work to produce a wide range of high-quality veterinary vaccines for the prophylaxis/control of diseases in livestock and pets for global needs. Moreover, major investments have recently been made to produce a vaccine for the prophylaxis of a human disease on a new vaccine production line.
