Doctoral Researcher
The position is offered for a period of 3 years, if no former times of qualification must be considered. The starting date is 2026-12-01. The position is part-time (65 % of regular working hours) with salary and benefits commensurate with a public service position in the state Hesse, Germany (TV-H E 13, 65 %).Activities and responsibilities
- Investigate lymphangiogenesis using the zebrafish model.
- Investigate interactions between different cell types and lymphatic vessels across various organs using advanced zebrafish models
- Generate, characterize, and validate transgenic zebrafish lines
- Contribute to scientific and technical support activities within the research group.
- Supervise and mentor to bachelor’s and master’s students involved in the research
Qualification profile
- Completed MSc degree or equivalent in biology
- Excellent knowledge of molecular biology
- Strong interest and experience in the fields of imaging, immunohistochemistry/histology, and image processing
- Excellent data analysis skills, as well as strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a team, a high level of intrinsic motivation, and enthusiasm for research
