Scientist in Cell Engineering (m/f/d)

This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities within a modern, international research environment and provides the opportunity to actively shape technological developments as well as sustainably advance scientific and operational processes.
Your Tasks
- Design, planning, and management of cell engineering projects
- Driving the strategic development and establishment of technologies for cell line engineering
- Standardization and continuous optimization existing service modules
- Providing scientific consulting to internal and external users
- Ensuring, development, and documentation of quality standards
- Analysis, interpretation, and presentation of scientific results
- Contribution to the facility’s administrative development
- Coordination of workflows in the laboratory environment
Your Profile
- Master's degree in combination with a PhD in biology, molecular biology, or a related field
- Extensive hands-on experience in cell culture and molecular biology techniques
- Strong hands-on experience and practical expertise in working with viral systems, as well as in genome editing (including establishment, standardization, and scaling)
- Strong analytical skills combined with a structured and solution-oriented working style
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams
- Very good command of German and English
- Proficiency in common MS Office applications
- Experience in project management is a plus, but not required
