Head of QC Release & Method Qualification (m/f/d)

• Management of the QC department, including responsibility for budget and personnel
• Ensuring the timely QC testing of relevant materials (e.g., raw materials, intermediates, drug substances, finished drug products)
• Responsibility for method qualification/validation
• Ensuring and organizing the qualification of QC laboratory equipment
• Ensuring that adequate and trained personnel are available to perform QC functions
• Reviewing key KPIs for performance monitoring and driving improvement initiatives
  Drafting, reviewing, and approving QC protocols and reports
• Ensuring that OOX and deviations are appropriately investigated and resolved
• Leading customer interactions for all QC-related projects, including method development, method transfer/validation, and updates to routine tests
• Providing technical support during customer audits and inspections
• Collaborating with Manufacturing, QA, QP, and other QC departments to ensure smooth operations
• Participating in cross-functional collaboration to meet project timelines and material procurement requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field
• 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the area of quality control and GMP, preferably in the biotech sector
• 5 years of experience in a leadership role
• strong sense of responsibility toward people, processes, internal and external customers, and timelines
• fluency in German and English
