to join our team for working on the topic
“Characterization of a Potentially Protective Modulator of Lipid-Induced
Hepatic Insulin Resistance”.
Your area of responsibility includes:
- Conducting cell culture experiments in HepG2 cells
- Methods: mRNA-based protein overexpression, Western blot, and qPCR
- Independent collaboration with other research groups and institutes at the DDZ
- Analysis, documentation, and evaluation of the obtained results
We expect from you:
- Enrollment in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a comparable degree program
- Interest in metabolic diseases
- Basic knowledge of Western blot, qPCR, and statistical analysis is an advantage
- Preparation and presentation of data in English
- Reliable, independent, and conscientious working style
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
