The Medical University of Graz invites applications for 5 positions in the excellence PhD program “Molecular Fundamentals of Inflammation” (DK-MOLIN).
 
The positions are funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) and the University.
 
The program provides in-depth, multidisciplinary training in biomedical research in a stimulating international environment. The thesis projects focus on various aspects of inflammatory diseases and integrate basic research and clinically oriented sciences utilizing a wide spectrum of state-of-the-art techniques.
 
Selected PhD students will be temporary employed for 1 year with the possibility of extension for further 2 years with a contract that includes social insurance. Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree equivalent to a Master of Science in any discipline of natural or life sciences or medicine. The last degree should not date back more than three years ago except for reasonable circumstances. The selection procedure, all training activities and communication will be conducted in English.
