We are looking for a scientist to support our Spatial Biology Unit within Technology Research Center to start as soon as possible. We are an interdisciplinary team of scientists, PhD students, and research assistants with diverse background, including cancer biology, neuroscience, and immunology. Our Unit supports projects of TRON, as well as collaborations with industrial and academic partners by providing expertise in histological assays, spatial proteomics, and spatial transcriptomics. We analyze and validate novel biomarkers in spatial context, deepen our understanding of the tumor microenvironment, and investigate the biodistribution and expression of mRNA-based vaccines and other immunotherapeutic modalities. The successful candidate will develop novel methods and analysis pipelines for spatial proteomics and transcriptomics, support projects involving data analysis of multiplex and high-plex immunohistochemistry (IHC) and spatial transcriptomics, contribute to exciting ongoing and novel projects in high-dimensional tumour profiling to translate those findings to clinical settings. The candidate will collaborate with experts across multiple disciplines to advance the projects.
TRON was founded in Mainz in 2010 and works in close cooperation with universities and hospitals as well as with regional, national and international research institutions and pharmaceutical companies.
As part of our team, you have the opportunity to be at the cutting edge of translational science with us.
If all this appeals to you, we look forward to getting to know you.
